This handbook of natural dyeing was published online in 2014 as an open resource for students and educators.
Natural dyes open up possibilities for a more diverse and locally derived colour palette for design practice and one which is not dependent on petroleum-derived materials. This handbook outlines theoretical and practical elements of workshops which took place at the London College of Fashion. It is now being made available for download as an open resource through the Centre for Sustainable Fashion and funding from the UAL Centre for Learning and Teaching in Art and Design.
